With Lorne Michaels revealing that Saturday Night Live would have some changes to the cast for Season 51 after a very memorable 50th year, there are already names confirmed to be out.

Among them? Reportedly eight-year cast member Heidi Gardner is among them.

But why would Gardner leave after what's been a really successful tenure on the series? Per the multiple reports, there's no reason given. It could be that she's become enough of a star that she's ready to continue to act as she has in TV and movies like she has in Shrinking and Hustle. It could be that she was let go, but no official word on that yet.
