A man accused of ambushing and assaulting an Edmond Police officer in May has waived his right to a preliminary hearing, according to court records.
The Edmond Police Department says the incident happened during a traffic stop near 15th Street and Broadway.
While Officer Caleb Hodem was administering a traffic stop on another vehicle, 22-year-old Ocean Hudson can be seen on body cam video attacking Hodam with pepper spray and then stabbing the officer in the torso.
