MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Motions have been granted for three former Memphis Police Department officers to receive a new trial in the case involving the death of Tyre Nichols over communications between the former judge over the case surrounding MPD.
Tadarrius Bean, Justin Smith and Demetrius Haley will receive a new trial following the recusal of federal judge Mark S. Norris.
