STILLWATER, Okla. (KFOR) — The Loyal and True were back in Stillwater Thursday night to cheer on their Cowboys to victory in the season opener against UT Martin.

We spoke with OSU fans about what they are expecting out of their team this year.

Fans gathered around the OSU campus to tailgate like they do before every home game.

You heard the band playing loud and proud, fans young and old getting into the OSU spirit while grabbing a drink or something to eat.

While last year was not how anyone planned the Cowboys' season to go, fans say they will continue to show up to support their team ad are expecting a bounce back season.

"I think we're going to do great this year," a fan said.

"Last year was bad, but if you're not a believer this year, you're not a real fan."
