CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. — A man was arrested overnight after he and two others were injured in a crash in Crystal Lake.
According to police, the crash unfolded just before 1 a.m. near the intersection of Carmella Drive and Crystal Ridge Drive.
Officers were first called to the scene following a report of a single-vehicle crash in the area. When they arrived, they found a Toyota pickup truck that had crashed into a tree.
Officers said a preliminary investigation later revealed that the truck was allegedly heading eastbound along Crystal Ridge Drive at a high rate of speed when it veered off the road and crashed into a nearby tree.
The driver and two others inside the vehicle all suffered injuries in the crash.
