The Judge William Seeber Bridge, which has had inconsistent hours due to maintenance issues, will close again Friday night through Sunday to address mechanical issues, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
Problems with two lift motors have kept the drawbridge, known as the Claiborne Avenue Bridge, from being fully operational, according to a DOTD news release.
The bridge will close at 10 p.m. Friday until 7 p.m. Sunday to install the first of the two bridge motors.
DOTD will provide updates on further closing dates after the first motor is installed and tested.
