GREENVILLE, S.C. —

The Charleston Animal Society is offering a reward after 18 dogs were found running at an intersection in Goose Creek.

The Goose Creek Police Department said it got calls on Monday morning about more than a dozen small dogs were seen running near the intersection of Red Bank Road and Highway 52. Latest Forecast

Over the following days, animal control officers were able to recover 17 Chihuahua-Dachshund mixed-breed dogs from the area and bring them to Charleston Animal Society’s Berkeley Campus in Moncks Corner to be assessed for any injuries or illnesses.
