Summer is not letting go in Northern California through the Labor Day weekend holiday and into early next week.

The seven-day forecast has several days where temperatures could reach the triple digits.

On Friday, plan for a pleasant morning under clear skies and light winds in the Valley. There will be sunny skies for the afternoon and temps that peak in the mid to upper 90s.

Meteorologist Tamara Berg said the hours of 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. will be "toasty."

Highs in the Foothills will reach the low-90s. The Sierra can expect temps in the mid- to upper-70s.

Some haze from the Garnet fire East of Fresno may travel into areas South of Tahoe and in the higher terrain.

The good news is no thunderstorms are expected in the Tahoe Basin.
