Prominent conservative Erick Erickson said late Thursday night that his wife who has lung cancer is suffering thanks to the "mess" of the Trump administration.

Erickson is a frequent defender of the GOP, although he recently came under fire from MAGA after suggesting Trump's latest firing was a "bad idea."

Days later, Erickson added an additional Trump criticism.

Linking to a New York Times article called CVS Holds Off on Offering Covid Vaccines in 16 States, Erickson added, "My wife has Stage 4 lung cancer."

"She is one of the people the COVID vaccine actually helps," the conservative commentator added. "Thanks to the current mess at HHS, CVS is unable to get her the vaccine."

In a follow-up comment, Erickson added, "So frustrating, and one of the reasons I was so vocally opposed to Kennedy and frustrated that [Senator Bill Cassidy], who knew better, let Kennedy through."

"We are at the point I knew we'd get to," Erickson then added.

Erickson also said of her cancer, "It is not remission. Her cancer is incurable. The medicine she is on keeps the tumors from growing, but they cannot get rid of the tumors."
