OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEVV) — Officials with the Kentucky State Police say they arrested an Owensboro woman for dealing meth and fentanyl near two local schools.
Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in a search warrant at a home on Woodbridge Trail in Owensboro, leading to the recovery of meth, fentanyl, and a handgun.
KSP says the home where the search warrant was executed is less than 1,000 feet from two schools.
As a result of the investigation, authorities arrested 38-year-old Jennifer Curtis on meth and fentanyl trafficking charges, in addition to charges of trafficking within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Curtis is currently on supervised probation for previous drug charges and was lodged in Daviess County Detention Center.
