ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - A man is now facing more serious charges in connection with a crash that killed a South Carolina state trooper earlier this month.
Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announced Friday that 45-year-old Anthony Aydlette, of Hanahan, is now charged with reckless homicide.
Aydlette is accused of hitting South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Dennis Ricks on Aug. 10 on Interstate 26 after the latter conducted a traffic stop. Ricks died three days after the wreck.
