On Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1:

Metro Rail will open at 6 a.m. and close at midnight, operating on regular Sunday schedules at all stations.

Metro Bus will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Metro Access customers may make a reservation to travel on the holiday; however, subscription trips will be canceled.

Summer construction on the southern end of the Green Line will conclude this holiday weekend. Naylor Road, Suitland, and Branch Av stations will remain closed Saturday, Aug. 30, and Sunday, Aug. 31, with free shuttle buses replacing trains. All three stations will reopen for service on Monday, Sept. 1. Metro Rail Service information for Monday, September 1:

Red Line: Trains every 6 minutes, then every 10 minutes after 9:30 p.m.

Blue Line: Trains every 12 minutes, then every 15 minutes
