The detention camp in the Everglades known as Alligator Alcatraz is being emptied, just two months after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spent hundreds of millions of dollars to build it to help President Donald Trump’s plan to deport millions of migrants. A US District Court judge ruled the camp was built without a proper environmental review. The government is appealing the ruling. DeSantis says he's looking to build a similar camp in northern Florida.
