MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. ( WWSB ) - Manatee County Solid Waste Division has announced there will be no trash, recycling, or yard waste collection in observance of Labor Day.

County officials said services will not be available on Monday, September 1, during the holiday. Services will resume one day later than your scheduled pickup day for the rest of that week.

Waste removal in Sarasota temporarily stopped over the Labor Day Holiday

Operations will resume on Tuesday, September 2, for the remainder of the week.

Regular collection days resume the following Monday.

This plan will also be in effect for the City of Bradenton.
