FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - After another cold front crossed, we are a little cooler to end the week as highs are expected to stay in the low 70s, but throughout the holiday weekend temperatures are expected to warm up. Plenty of sunshine and highs returning to the upper 70s and low 80s by Labor Day.
Yesterday’s rain totaled more rain (0.73″) than the rest of August combined (0.43″) as there are no more rain chances for the rest of the month. The rain yesterday prevented us from having the second driest August on record as we now sit seventh with a monthly total of 1.16″.
Despite the seasonal start next week, another cold front will bring showers throughout the middle of the week before another temperature drop by the end of the week.
