WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. — TSA predicts record-breaking air travel for the Labor Day weekend. Bradley International Airport was busy early Friday morning; at around 4 a.m., the TSA lines extended all the way down near the Sheraton Hotel Area.
"It is very busy. We have a flight at 5:40, and look how long the line is," said Celina Tigget on her way to Jamaica.
Meanwhile, Casey Kelly and her partner thought they might not make it to their flight in time.
"It's very long and I told him 'we have to be two hours early' and he said, 'No, you can be 30 (minutes)'...it could go either way. If not, it's a-OK," said Kelly.
TSA predicts Labor Day air travel will set a 50-year record, as 17.4 million passengers across the U.S. are projected to fly between Aug. 28 and Sept. 3, with 63,000 of those passe
