Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles’ 10 game-suspension has been reduced to seven games after going through an appeal process with MLB and the MLB Players Association, according to Seattle Sports’ Shannon Drayer.

Robles’ ban will start immediately with Friday’s series opener in Cleveland. It will leave the Mariners down a man on their active roster until he returns.
The right fielder’s suspension stems from a viral incident during a minor league rehab assignment on Aug. 17 with Triple-A Tacoma.
