Bruno Vega and Steve Klein accounted for five touchdowns and 284 rushing yards to lead Westwood to a season-opening 34-14 road win over Lyndhurst, in Lyndhurst.

The score was 14-14 at the end of the opening quarter but Klein took over in the second by scoring three straight short-yardage rushing touchdowns for Westwood (1-0).

Klein also opened Westwood’s scoring with a two-yard touchdown rush in the first quarter. His brother Nick Klein had a 45-yard receiving TD from Vega.

Vega finished 9-of-15 passing for 96 yards while racking up 166 rushing yards on 13 carries. Klein ran for 118 yards on 17 carries and had two catches for 45 yards. Tyler Hanson made four grabs on 37 yards.
