Dozens of protests across California are planned for this Labor Day as part of nationwide demonstrations referred to as “Workers Over Billionaires.”
After the “No Kings Day” and “Good Trouble Lives On” protests earlier this year, Californians will once again see marches and rallies taking place across the state, from Fort Bragg in Northern California to Escondido in San Diego County, on Sept. 1.
The Labor Day “day of action” is to “stand strong against billionaire exploitation and corporate domination,” said May Day Strong in a document about the upcoming demonstrations. May Day Strong listed its Labor Day partners, which included various unions as well as advocacy groups like the 50501 Movement and Indivisible.
