SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Market 32 and Price Chopper recently held a round-up campaign in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and raised thousands of dollars. From the round-up campaign alone, the company raised $47,313.45.

After the fundraiser was complete, Market 32 and Price Chopper matched it with an additional $10,000. A ceremonial check presentation revealed the donation at a Market 32 in Slinglerlands.

From July 1 to July 31, the campaign invited customers to round up their change to the nearest dollar, going toward MDA and its work accelerating research, enhancing care, and providing programs for children and adults with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and other neuromuscular diseases.
