California's peak wildfire season tends to be summer and early fall, but most Californians know that fires can happen any time of the year.

That was evident in January, when the Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire devastated communities across Los Angeles County, claiming the lives of 30 people .

Cal Fire noted this year that the fire outlook shows above-average fire conditions are expected in June, July and August.
