POCATELLO — Bannock County commissioners are moving forward with a budget that significantly cuts the county’s charitable contributions to local nonprofit agencies.

Commissioners Jeff Hough, Ernie Moser and Ken Bullock addressed county residents who have expressed their opposition to the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2026 at their regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday morning. While the charitable contribution cuts are still in the budget, the commissioners said that they have been and still are looking for ways to restore that funding.
