A well-known Mount Hawthorn restaurant is shutting up shop after six years of serving tasty Italian dishes.

The team behind Lupo Lab on Scarborough Beach Road took to social media on Tuesday to announce the news to their more than 10,000 Instagram followers.

They thanked their customers for an “unforgettable” journey, and while they admitted their business hadn’t been “perfect”, it was their “greatest joy” to share a part of Italy with Perth foodies .

“After more than six years, the moment has come to say farewell,” the post said.

“We want to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years—for helping us create a wonderful community that stood strong through the challenges of Covid-19 and celebrated together through happier times.
