A deadly crash is under investigation after a pedestrian was killed by what officials described as a work vehicle in Brentwood Friday morning.
The crash was reported around 10:45 a.m. on the 16500 block of West Park Lane.
"Unfortunately, the patient was determined deceased on scene," the Los Angeles Fire Department said in a news alert.
Sky5 was over the scene around 11:15 a.m., where a work truck was seen a short distance from the victim, but it was unclear if it was the vehicle involved in the crash.
No details regarding the victim's identity or the cause of the crash were immediately released.
