SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - House Speaker and La. Congressman Mike Johnson was asked about having the National Guard help with Shreveport crime in a recent interview with CNN.
In the interview, John Berman asked Johnson if he was going to request that the National Guard come to Shreveport.
Berman cited FBI statistics, stating violent crime per 100,000 residents was higher in 2024 in Shreveport than it was in D.C.
Johnson responded with the following:
“There’s a lot of good work that’s been done.
