LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — July brought a lucky number seven to Nevada as casinos statewide posted their seventh-highest win of all time.

Casinos won $1.36 billion in July, up about 4% compared to July 2024, according to figures released Friday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB).

More than half of that came from the Las Vegas Strip, where casinos won just over $749 million, a 5.6% improvement over last July.

High-stakes baccarat generated $114.4 million, about 15% of the Strip's total win. That was a big improvement over last year — about 79% higher.

July's positive numbers followed a 3.5% increase in June, when casinos broke a five-month stretch that didn't live up to a high bar set in 2024, when tourism was riding momentum from the return of Formula 1 and the first Super Bowl played i
