Look for plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures It was a great finish to what has been an incredible week of weather across Central and Eastern Kentucky as the early preview of fall continued. A weak frontal boundary dropping through the commonwealth did produce a few scattered clouds mixed in with the sunshine, while trying to squeeze out a stray shower or two but had a lot of dry air to contend with. Afternoon highs reached the low 80s once again and as the front slides southward, the long Labor Day holiday weekend is looking very nice with our quiet weather pattern continuing.
High pressure drifting out of southern Canada into the Ohio Valley will usher in a reinforcing shot of dry and mild air so it should be a great start to the holiday weekend. Saturday should be stellar f
