WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - A display on Courthouse Square is helping people visualize the number of overdoses in Trumbull County.
The Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention and the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board are raising flags on overdoses.
The flags represent the number of overdoses in the county from January 2024 to July of this year.
A total of 89 purple flags represent the number of fatal overdoses, while 530 white flags signify non-fatal overdoses.
The flags were planted ahead of Overdose Awareness Day on Sunday.
