LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Shelbyville man has been accused of being in a group of as many as eight men who allegedly raped a Lexington woman in June 2024.
According to an arrest warrant, an investigation began on June 22, 2024, when officers with the Lexington Police Department were sent to the University of Kentucky Hospital in response to reports of a teen who'd been sexually assaulted.
The 15-year-old victim told investigators she'd been raped by seven to eight men "numerous times," per court documents. At the hospital, she seemed sluggish, as though she had been drugged.
The victim reportedly consented to a sexual assault evidence collection kit to submit potential evidence of rape to police. On Aug. 18, 2025, the LPD was informed that an initial DNA match from that kit was allege
