I liked some of what I saw from Oklahoma State defensively in their 27-7 win against the FCS Skyhawks on Thursday night in the season opener.

The tackling was sharp. The aggression was good. The effort was there. Rarely did OSU go 3 for 3 in those categories a season ago. (The Cowboys, you might recall, sported the single-worst defense among power conference teams in 2024).
