SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - "Bring Books Back - A Celebration of Reading" aims to rekindle Springfield youth and their families' love of reading.

According to an Aug. 29 press release from iMagicNation said the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Erin's Pavilion in Springfield.

The celebration will feature local celebrity readers, a quiet reading space, a book character costume contest, local authors, vendors and a silent auction.

All donations for "Bring Books Back" will go towards iMagicNation's free fall tutoring clinic for third to eighth graders struggling or falling behind in reading. The clinic is expected to serve up to 20 students and will be held in the Solid Rock Youth Transitional Program building.
