Scientists think they may have discovered a new type of “horned” human , after finding a skull that doesn’t look human or Neanderthal. ‌

Writing in the Journal of Human Evolution researchers wrote: “This fossil has a key position in European human evolution.” The experts think that this type of skull belonged to a prehistoric species of hominid which lived alongside Neanderthals around 300,000 years ago. ‌
