West Coast Eagles champion Ben Cousins revealed he has already had surgery on his knee after it caused the icon to pull out of the EJ Whitten Legends Game.
The six time All-Australian pulled out of the game that is stacked with AFL greats at the very last minute due to knee issues that required him to go under the knife.
It comes after the premiership player recently had another health scare due when he noticed a lump “where it shouldn’t be” - Cousins was then rushed to hospital for surgery in what the champion described as the most pain he’s ever been in.
Cousins posted on his Instagram story after the operation letting disappointed fans know “Just out of surgery! All the best tonight for those involved in the Legends game, great cause!”
