CHARLOTTE N.C. (WBTV) - This Labor Day weekend will not be a washout, but there will be a few chances for showers through Monday.

We are going to wrap up this Friday afternoon warm and dry with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Tonight will be partly cloudy and pleasant with lows in the 50s across the mountains and lower 60s in Charlotte.

Weekend forecast

Over the weekend, a few weak disturbances will bring chances for showers. On Saturday, there will be a slight chance for some isolated showers. Otherwise, expect partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

More chances for scattered showers can be expected on Sunday along with cooler temperatures; highs will top out in the lower 80s.
