HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- Authorities say one person was arrested after leading law enforcement on a chase through Vanderburgh and Warrick counties.

ISP Sgt. Todd Ringle says the chase started Friday afternoon in Vanderburgh County. We're told deputies were investigating a theft when they located the suspect.

Ringle says that's when the suspect drove off, and Vanderburgh deputies initiated a pursuit.

According to Ringle, the chase continued into Warrick County, where the Chandler Police Department took over. Eventually, an ISP trooper was able to deploy stop sticks, and the suspect drove over them, deflating the front tires.

Ringle says the suspect came to a stop and was taken into custody.
