BULLOCH COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 4:18 p.m. 8/29/2025] Early on August 29, 2025, Bulloch County Code Enforcement officers, in coordination with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GEPD), issued a cease-and-desist order to Savage Trails LLC, according to a press release WTOC received moments ago.

The business was immediately closed due to multiple county permit and code violations, as well as wetlands concerns.

The action follows a months-long investigation by county code enforcement, the release states.

While Savage Trails LLC received a conditional use permit in January 2022 to operate a 13.8-acre RV park and campground, the investigation found that the business has been operating beyond the approved acreage.
