TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The first game of the Florida State University football season kicks off this weekend and the City of Tallahassee is preparing for heavy traffic.
“If possible, motorists are advised to use Ocala Road and Monroe Street for north-south travel to avoid the pre-game traffic pattern approaching Doak Campbell Stadium,” the city said.
The City of Tallahassee is also encouraging fans to use the following roadways to access parking on and around FSU’s campus, per a press release from the city.
If driving from the north, officials encourage drivers to take Stadium Drive to park on the west side of Doak Campbell Stadium and Macomb Street. They also suggest taking Bronough Street to Pensacola Street to park on the east side of Doak Campbell.
