Reno and Lake Tahoe are set for a sunny Labor Day weekend after a stormy week that brought repeated flood watches, warnings and afternoon thunderstorms.

The National Weather Service in Reno says the drying trend continues through Monday, with highs reaching the low 90s in Reno and the low to mid-80s around Lake Tahoe. Skies will be mostly clear, though smoke from the Garnet Fire in California that could drift into the region at times.
