COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in far east Columbus late Friday afternoon, according to a public safety dispatcher.

Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to the area of North Waggoner Road in Blacklick around 4:15 p.m. on a report of a crash. The vehicle reportedly flipped over on its top.

The dispatcher told 10TV that one person was taken to Mount Carmel East hospital in critical condition.

North Waggoner Road is closed from East Broad Street to Kennedy Road, according to the dispatcher.

No additional details about the crash were immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
