After asking for his release from the Saskatchewan Roughriders in January to pursue an NFL opportunity, the 23-year-old Canadian receiver signed with the Indianapolis Colts and attended training camp with the team summer before being released on Aug. 26. Article content Article content

Two days later, he rejoined the Roughriders .

“It’s bittersweet,” Ajou said on Friday after his first practice with the team. “But you know, I’m coming home to some fans and some people who love me.

“So I’m all for it. I’m happy.”
