INDIANAPOLIS — There are plenty of reasons someone might be car shopping this weekend.
For Jen, it came down to color.
"I have a white car, and I've never loved it, so I wanted either a blue or orange car," she said.
She stopped by the lot Friday to check out Labor Day deals.
"They advertised a 1.9 (percent) finance rate, and I'm very interested in that," Jen added.
Ivan Drury with Edmunds.com said financing is often an area where dealers have flexibility.
"This one of those things where it's kind of an old myth that, 'Hey, cash is king.' But in this instance, it really isn't, " he said, "So if you can qualify for, like, a low APR finance, they might be able to knock some more price off of for you."
