MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. (PIX11) -- One suspect is in custody, but a manhunt is still underway for the second of two men who police say shot at officers minutes after holding up a gas station at gunpoint.
The holdup happened in Mt. Vernon, just across the town line from the Bronx, just before 5:30 a.m. Then, police say, the suspects shot at the cops at around 5:45 a.m.
Witnesses said that the two suspects were dangerous and definitely armed.
Surveillance video from the first crime scene, a Gulf gas station on Mt. Vernon Avenue and South Bond Street, showed the suspects pointing guns at the station attendant. One suspect was in a white hoodie, and the other was dressed all in black. They put their guns right up to the attendant's head and to his side, robbing him.
The gas station is four-and-
