PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS — THE NYC POLICE DEPARTMENT is looking for a wig-wearing man accused of stabbing and slashing a victim and then fleeing.

According to police, on Wednesday, April 23, at around 4:26 p.m., the suspect argued with a 37-year-old man inside of 191 Parkside Ave., across the street from Prospect Park. The unidentified man left, but later returned with a knife, stabbing the victim in the abdomen and slashing him on the arm.

EMS transported the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. The suspect fled the location on foot, traveling eastbound on Parkside Avenue towards Flatbush Avenue. He is described as having a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a black wig, blue shirt and blue jeans.
