Katrina survivor starts nonprofit that sends teddy bears to kids impacted by disasters

Twenty years after her traumatic experience escaping Hurricane Katrina, Mimi Hymel has launched Comfort Bears in a Catastrophe, an organization that provides stuffed teddy bears with handwritten notes to children who have experienced a catastrophe.
