U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley said he intends to question Health and Human Services Director Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about the recent leadership shakeup at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Kennedy is reportedly scheduled to testify before the Senate Finance Committee on Sept. 4.
His appearance comes shortly after the White House fired CDC Director Susan Monarez Aug. 27 amid disagreements with Kennedy. Other top CDC officials also announced their resignations the same day in protest of Kennedy's leadership, including his direction on vaccines.

Grassley, who is a member of the Finance Committee, said each member will have five minutes for questions, and he would also like to d
