BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Design Wall Housing is a non-profit organization that works to provide housing for unhoused people.

On Friday they received a $5,000 grant from the Bangor Savings Bank Foundation.

The grant will be used for the construction of a new house in Bangor.

The new structure will join two others in the same area that Design Wall Housing has already built.

Design Wall Housing says that they not only provide housing, but they also facilitate the progression of growth for those individuals impacted by homelessness.
