LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

The return of the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular in Iroquois Park is still a month away, but tickets for the event have gone on sale early.

This will be the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular's 13th season, running from Oct. 2 to Nov. 2.

The annual event takes over Iroquois Park for the Halloween season, decorating the park with thousands of themed jack-o-lanterns.

This year's theme is "Jack's Pun-King Trail: A Trailway of Wordplay." Organizers say guests can expect "punny surprises at every turn."

The Jack O'Lantern Spectacular draws in tens of thousands of visitors each year.
