A Good Morning Britain presenter has announced his departure from the programme as ITV continues with widespread cost-cutting measures. ‌

News correspondent Will Godley has been an essential member of the morning show's reporting team for four years, providing bulletins from locations nationwide. ‌

But on Friday, August 29, Will confirmed his ITV tenure would be drawing to a close - after securing a fresh position with GB News. ‌

Using X, previously Twitter, to share his announcement, Will declared: "JOB NEWS. Thrilled to be starting as a National Reporter at @GBNEWS in September!".
