SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Labor Day weekend is always a busy one on the water, whether that’s on the boat, in the pool, or on the beach.

However, this weekend, the weather might put a bit of a snag in any outdoor plans as scattered storms and showers are in the forecast.

However, some people at the 10th Street boat ramp in Sarasota say they will still make the most out of it.

Local fisherman Bob Letterman says he’ll make the most of it. “From what I heard from mister Bob and John, Sunday and Monday maybe. You know, 50% chance, so I can live with that.”

While some people thing it will be busy, other people aren’t too sure what it’ll bring with the forecast.

Kristin Greenough said Siesta Key has been quiet. “It was pretty dead,” she told ABC7. “There was music on at a couple of the venues
