NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Rain is tapering off Friday evening and we should stay quiet across the area through midnight. Beyond that some spotty showers or storms could redevelop, mainly in the Florida Parishes and southern MS.

Rain chances will continue to start the weekend on Saturday. Expect more scattered activity to develop as opposed to the large batch of rain that moved through on Friday. This should begin by late morning into the afternoon. Look for temperatures in the upper 80s Saturday and Sunday before rain moves in. Overall chances will be around 60% on Saturday.

It does look like less rain coverage by Sunday and Monday. Isolated activity will still develop, but likely not as widespread. Temperatures will top out around 90 by Monday.
